Co-hosted by artist Emilio Fantin (Lac o Lemon Foundation, Italy) and curator/educator Alessandra Pomarico (Free Home University, Italy) together with Johannes Pfister (educator, change maker) and Uta Gerolltes (healer) from Unavision (Germany)  Cinzia di Meglio, antrophosofic doctor and art therapy teacher from Waldorf School (Italy), Silvia Maglioni & Graeme Thomson, filmmakers and artists (Italy/Scotland/France), Nikolay Oleynikov, artist from Chto Delat School of Engaged Art (Russia) and Julien Boyer, professor at Paris 7\rapper (France). Representing different European Ecoversities, the group engaged with each other and with the local learning community, living together and sharing various artistic, spiritual, healing and pedagogical practices. Reflecting on current issues Fortress Europe, on the socio-economic crisis and the impasse of our imaginary and languages, the contributors prepared the ground for a collectively dreamt Mediterranean Ecoversities, beyond borders and separability, gesturing towards a more just and ecologically aware learning environment, forwarding a wider ecology of knowledge, and being together more

ECOVERSITIES CALL JULY 11TH 2020      MEDICAL PROTOCOLS AND HEALING RELATIONSHIPS   Dear friends in and beyond ecoversities, Artist Emilio Fantin and anthroposophic Doctor Cinzia di Meglio will host a conversation with Doctor Rossana Becarelli, and Josefina Guzman and Pedro Reygadas, from Centro de Investigacions and Studios Transmodernos, to continue our investigation around healing issues and practices, from different prospectives.   We have seen the Covid 19 pandemia being used to reinforce the pharma industry and all its apparatus, and witnessed how health issues have been instrumentalized, becoming conductive of more control over our bodies and our minds (See strategies for mandatory flu vaccination in Italy and other countries, for developing new synthetic medicaments rather than "traditional" ones and alternative therapies, and the lack of a preventive campaign for developing immunity system).The conventional medicine approach is more and more based on statistical and technological medical protocols which excludes a deep relationship between healer and patient, reducing human beings to abstract entities.   Emilio compiled a text to archive various news and articles that have been circulating, to show how language and the system of contemporary communication through mainstream media and social media, have a tremendous impact on our lives, producing fear and a feeling of vulnerability, a desire to be governed, altering our notions of being alive, having a good life and being able to heal. She has been developing studies in analytical psychology, medical anthropology and homeopathy. Member of SIMA (Italian Society of Anthroposophical Medicine) she practices her medical profession in the context of general medicine aimed at the development of the child and the care of the adult. She is the doctor of the Waldorf School in Bologna where the Steinerian pedagogical method, diffused all over the world, is applied. She teaches by taking care of medical-pedagogical aspects at the Stella Maris School of Color Art Therapy.   Emilio Fantin is an italian artist interested in creating the conditions for a dialectic interaction among different types of knowledge. He generates spaces and situations in which he invites people to share a space of connection, not tight to material geographies, rather an area of intense and dynamic exchange, experimenting in what he calls “the aesthetic of the non perceivable”. He is currently focusing on a personal research into “presences, territories and spaces of the invisible” though inner encounters, and an architecture of the invisible. He is co-founder of Lac O Le Mon Foundation for Artistic research.   PhD Josefina Guzmán Díaz & PhD Pedro Reygadas Robles Gil are responsible of the Centro de Investigaciones y Estudios Transmodernos (Mexico), where they promote the buen vivir (good living) for all living Beings. Their work is critical of notions of human rights and development, and they connect healing practices and teaching as part of a constant dialogue. Their work is critical of notions of human rights and development, and they connect healing practices and teaching as part of a constant dialogue. They consider their work as community service, in which they find themeselves permanently learning and contributing to an ever expanding social web.
